Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The International Friendship Club (IFC) of Puerto Vallarta is ringing in 2025 with a momentous celebration – its 40th anniversary! Established in 1985, the IFC has spent four decades supporting local charities and improving the lives of countless residents.
To honor this milestone, the organization is aiming high for its 5th annual Día de la Amistad (Valentine’s Day) 50/50 raffle fundraiser. This year’s goal is to raise $200,000 pesos through ticket sales, surpassing the impressive $148,000 pesos raised last year. Of that amount, $97,500 pesos were distributed to local charities, reinforcing the IFC’s commitment to giving back to the Puerto Vallarta community.
The 50/50 raffle is second only to the IFC’s renowned Puerto Home Tours for Charity in generating funds. Last year, the raffle also awarded $74,000 pesos in prize money to three lucky winners, many of whom generously donated portions of their winnings back to the IFC to further support charitable efforts.
Ticket prices remain unchanged, offering flexible options for supporters:
- 1 ticket: $500 pesos ($25 USD or $35 CAD)
- 5 tickets: $2000 pesos ($100 USD or $140 CAD)
- 13 tickets: $4000 pesos ($200 USD or $280 CAD)
Half of the total ticket sales will be awarded as prizes, distributed as follows:
- 1st Prize: 25% of total ticket sales
- 2nd Prize: 15% of total ticket sales
- 3rd Prize: 10% of total ticket sales
With the community’s continued support, the IFC hopes to make this year’s raffle the most successful yet. Every ticket sold brings the organization closer to its ambitious goal and helps sustain vital charitable programs throughout Puerto Vallarta.
