Mayor Munguía Delivers on Boca de Tomatlán Paving Project

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – A wave of optimism swept through Boca de Tomatlán as Mayor Luis Munguía initiated the much-anticipated paving of De Las Garzas street, a project that fulfills a key campaign promise and heralds a significant improvement in the town’s infrastructure.

With a substantial investment of 4.7 million pesos, this new concrete road addresses a critical need for enhanced traffic flow, as the town previously relied on a single thoroughfare for both entry and exit.

Mayor Munguía, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to elevating the quality of life for all Vallarta residents, highlighted the strategic importance of Boca de Tomatlán as a pivotal tourism hub. “This paving project,” he declared, “is more than just a construction effort; it is a tangible demonstration of our dedication to transforming mobility and bolstering the well-being of both residents and visitors alike.”

The comprehensive project, spearheaded by Director of Infrastructure and Public Works, Edén Castillón, includes the installation of robust retaining walls designed to ensure the street’s long-term stability and resilience, providing a secure connection to the federal highway. Anticipated for completion within three months, the improvements signify a substantial step forward in the town’s development.

Beyond the paving project, Mayor Munguía also announced plans to improve the local clinic and build a new Tucán Clinic, illustrating a holistic approach to community development. He also listened to concerns from Mismaloya residents, promising that projects are on the way for their area too.

These multifaceted initiatives underscore the administration’s dedication to fostering progress and prosperity throughout the Banderas Bay region.
