TUKIN Festival Brings Chile, Mole, and Punkzole to Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Music festivals are making a strong return to Puerto Vallarta with the arrival of the first TUKIN event, “Chile, Mole, and Punkzole,” set for 6:00 pm on Friday, November 21 at Los Arcos del Malecón. Organized by the Youth Department and supported by the local government, the festival aims to create new opportunities for young artists to perform, collaborate, and showcase their talent.

More than a concert, TUKIN represents a growing initiative to diversify the city’s cultural offerings. By providing an official platform for creative expression, the program reflects a broader commitment to supporting local youth and strengthening Puerto Vallarta’s artistic identity.

Six local punk bands – Barrios, Bradicardia, Cerazus, Casi Punks, Morfina, and Khaoz – will headline the debut event. Organizers also confirmed that TUKIN will become a monthly tradition, held every third weekend and featuring rotating genres and new local performers.

Councilwoman Laurel Carrillo Ventura, president of the Culture and Cultural Rights Commission, highlighted the administration’s dedication to young artists and encouraged the community to attend and enjoy an evening driven by creativity and energy.

The festival’s launch reflects coordination across several municipal agencies, including the Youth Department and the Directorate of Economic Development and Tourism, whose support strengthens the event’s impact and reach.

With “Chile, Mole, and Punkzole,” Puerto Vallarta continues to expand its cultural landscape, offering a fresh space for emerging musicians and enriching the city’s appeal. The Malecón is ready for a night of music, originality, and community pride.
