Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The Puerto Vallarta community is invited to take part in the first-ever “Let’s Stuff the Bug” Diaper Drive, a new initiative designed to support local babies in need. Organizers hope the event will inspire residents and visitors to help provide essential supplies for families throughout the region.
Diapers collected during the drive will be shared with four local organizations: Vallarta Cares, RISE, Ayudemos a Ayudar, and Ángeles en Libertad. Each group plays an important role in assisting families, and contributions from the community will help ensure more infants receive a clean and comfortable start.
The main event will take place on Saturday, November 29, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at Nacho Daddy. A key goal of the “Diaper Dash for Tiny Heroes” is to completely fill Tammy’s classic Volkswagen Beetle with donated diapers. As a thank-you, Nacho Daddy will offer a free handcrafted shot to everyone who makes a donation at the event.
For those who prefer to give ahead of time, diapers can be dropped off between November 18 and 29 at three locations: Nacho Daddy, The Living Room Book Store in Marina Vallarta, and Caroline Del Mar Collective on Aldanaca in Colonia Versalles. Supporters who cannot attend in person can also contribute through the event’s online Donorbox page.
Organizers note that even small donations can make a meaningful difference for families facing hardship and encourage the community to participate in any way they can. The event aims to bring people together for a shared purpose – helping Puerto Vallarta’s tiniest heroes through a simple act of generosity.
Everyone is invited to stop by, drop off diapers, and help Stuff the Bug on November 29. Every diaper counts, and every donation helps brighten a baby’s day.
