Puerto Vallarta is set to enjoy a festive holiday tradition as the Coca-Cola Caravan rolls into the city on December 19, bringing lights, music, and seasonal cheer to residents and visitors alike. According to the official announcement, the parade will begin at 6:30 pm, promising an evening filled with classic Christmas sights and sounds.
The Coca-Cola Caravan features a colorful procession of trucks and trailers decorated with holiday themes and iconic characters associated with both Christmas and the brand. Thousands of LED lights illuminate the floats, while festive music fills the air. Appearances by Santa Claus, Coca-Cola’s beloved polar bears, and other familiar seasonal figures add to the excitement.

Organized by the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry and Grupo Álica, the caravan is part of an annual tour designed to share messages of unity, joy, and togetherness. Along the route, spectators can enjoy music and dance performances, photo opportunities, and the distribution of promotional items, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for families.
The tradition dates back to the 1990s and was inspired by a Coca-Cola television commercial featuring glowing trucks traveling through snowy landscapes. Over the years, it has grown into a holiday hallmark across North America, known for bringing communities together during the Christmas season.
In Puerto Vallarta, the parade will start at the corner of Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio and Avenida Fluvial Vallarta, continue along Avenida de los Grandes Lagos, proceed to Prisciliano Sánchez, and then return to its starting point. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to find a good viewing spot and to dress comfortably, with a light jacket recommended for the cooler evening hours.
As a family-friendly event, the Coca-Cola Caravan offers a chance to share special moments with loved ones and capture memorable photos of the lights, performances, and smiling faces. Once again, the caravan highlights Coca-Cola’s long-standing connection to Christmas and its tradition of celebrating the season by bringing people together.
