With great food, friendly service, and live music most every night, the popular Basilio Badillo venue remains a favorite gathering place for both locals and visitors.
On Wednesday, January 21, Amy Armstrong brings Funk It to the Nacho Daddy stage. Known for her powerhouse vocals, sharp wit, and commanding stage presence, Armstrong is joined by Mimi Al Ramirez on guitar and Eugenia Prieto on violin. Together, the trio delivers an energetic mix of funk and soul that blends musical skill with plenty of humor and crowd interaction.

On Thursday, January 22 at 5:00 pm, guitarist Paul Lions fronts a seasoned band for a tribute to the music of Eric Clapton. The performance explores Clapton’s legendary catalog, moving from deep blues roots to classic rock anthems and soulful ballads. The early show time makes it easy to enjoy an evening of live music alongside dinner and drinks.
Friday nights belong to The Texas Embassy Blues Band, a long-running favorite that has packed the upstairs room for years. Fronted by Nacho Daddy’s own Texican showman Sean Moore, the band delivers well-loved blues and soul classics from artists like Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, and Blood, Sweat & Tears. Live music starts at 8:30 pm, admission is free, and the air-conditioned venue fills quickly with dancers, listeners, and longtime fans.
Saturday evenings take a theatrical turn with She. He. Him!, a new production starring Amy Armstrong alongside comedian Sargento Dan, with musical direction by Mark Hartman. The show blends Broadway standards, pop favorites, and quick-witted comedy, offering a polished performance that appeals to multiple generations.

Monday, January 26 and continuing weekly through March 30, welcome the return of Gouda Gabor for Season 8 in Vallarta. Her new show, Charcuterie BROAD, mixes cabaret, comedy, and bold musical numbers, accompanied by Maestro Mark Hartman at the piano.
