Puerto Vallarta’s cruise season continues at a strong pace with 27 international cruise ship arrivals scheduled to dock in April. This upcoming schedule represents nearly triple the traffic seen in March and surpasses the arrival count from April 2025 by four vessels.
According to the National Port System Administration (ASIPONA), the month will be defined by a series of high-capacity dockings that promise to bring a steady stream of international visitors to the region.
The momentum for this busy season follows a successful conclusion to March. On the final Tuesday of the month, the port welcomed 11,668 visitors delivered by the Royal Princess and the Carnival Panorama. This strong finish helped offset earlier cancellations and set a positive tone for the spring season.

The transition into April began immediately with a double arrival on the first of the month, featuring the Norwegian Bliss and the Norwegian Jade.
One of the most anticipated events on the maritime calendar is a triple arrival scheduled for Tuesday, April 24. On this day, the Navigator of the Seas, the Carnival Panorama, and the Zaandam will all share the harbor. The same trio of ships completed a similar triple visit last year.
In addition to this triple event, the month features nine double arrivals, ensuring the port remains a centerpiece of local economic activity.
The region will also celebrate the debut of three unique vessels: the Brilliant Lady, the Star Seeker, and the Queen Elizabeth. The Brilliant Lady is set to make a specialized appearance by staying overnight from Wednesday the 22nd to Thursday the 23rd, allowing passengers more time to explore the city.
Following this, the Queen Elizabeth, a luxury Cunard line ship measuring 294 meters, will arrive on Monday the 27th as it transitions from the Caribbean to its new Pacific route. The Star Seeker will complete the trio of inaugural visits when it docks on Tuesday the 28th.
The final week of the month is expected to be the most active, with nine ships arriving over a seven-day period. This includes four consecutive days of double arrivals starting on April 27 and continuing through April 30.
During a recent meeting of the ASIPONA Operations Committee, officials noted that the density of the April schedule marks a significant period of growth for the port, reinforcing Puerto Vallarta’s status as a premier destination for luxury cruise travel in the Pacific.
