Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Calling all animal lovers! Join fellow feline supporters at Daiquiri Dick’s Restaurant on Playa de Los Muertos at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 for this year’s PuRR Project Sunset Cocktail Party fundraiser.
For just $500 pesos, you’ll enjoy a selection of yummy hors d’oeuvres, two drink tickets, an exciting and exotic dance performance and a front-row seat for one of Puerto Vallarta’s fabulous sunsets on Daiquiri Dick’s outdoor deck – for a good cause!
PuRR Project is a no-kill feline shelter located on one-half acres of land just north of Puerto Vallarta. Right now the shelter houses more than 200 cats. The adults roam free within a fenced garden, giving them a natural and safe environment in which to live. The kittens have their own nursery, which is an enclosed structure with an open-air patio. The sanctuary also has a clinic for surgeries and veterinary care.
Monies raised at the Sunset Cocktail Party fundraiser will help cover PuRR Project’s operating expenses, which include vet care, spaying and neutering, food, kitty litter and facility maintenance.
If you attended the 2018 PuRR Project ‘Arabian Night’ fundraising event at Daiquiri Dick’s, you will most definitely recall the memorable performance by world-renowned belly-dancer, Ruben Eduardo Marquez Angel.
PuRR Project is very pleased to announce that Ruben has agreed to perform for us again at this year’s Sunset Cocktail Party! There will also be a raffle for great prizes and, if you choose, you can get a glimpse into your future with a visit to the tarot card reader’s booth.
Tickets are now on sale at the cashier’s desk at Daiquiri Dick’s, at our Saturday adoption booth, or by contacting Marilyn Khan at exkhan(at)usfamily.net.
Join the PuRR Project team on Tuesday, February 4th for an evening of great food, fun and a chance to meet other animal lovers at Daiquiri Dick’s.
