RISE Vallarta February Events

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The PV community ROCKS! We had an incredible turnout for last weekend’s fundraising street bazaar and the children, staff and volunteers at R.I.S.E. (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) thank you!

These funds will help us pay operational costs and educate our children who, depending on their learning abilities and circumstances, are being educated in private schools with a few in public schools.

A little tidbit on our progress: We are now augmenting their English classes at school with volunteer-led English on the premises. We will be conducting English exercises after school for ages 6+ and continue our English program for nursery children ages 2-5.

The English nursery program has been in place for 3 years and was validated successful when one of our 4-year olds went to a private preschool and was evaluated at an age 10 level of English! Teaching English early works. We want to give these children the life skills necessary to succeed in the outside world.

February is going to be a fun month as we have planned two awesome events, so please mark your calendars for our upcoming fund raisers, you won’t want to miss out:
