Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Coco’s Kitchen will host a “Spay-ghetti and No Balls” (that’s spaghetti to you and me) dinner on March 5th at 6:30 pm to benefit the Cuale Spay Neuter Clinic, a long-term, non-profit project that aims to reduce the number of unwanted animals in Puerto Vallarta.
Tickets for the dinner are 400 pesos and can be purchased at Langostinos (Playa Los Muertos, Calle Manuel M. Diéguez 109), Cassandra Shaw Jewelry (Basilio Badillo 276, Col. Emiliano Zapata), Nacho Daddy (Basilio Badillo 287, Col. Emiliano Zapata) and Beston Properties (Ignacio L. Vallarta 439, Col. Emiliano Zapata).
The evening includes a welcome drink, spaghetti dinner with polenta and salad, auction items, raffles, and lots of fun… while helping to prevent thousands of unwanted dogs and cats.
As a result of Vallarta’s perfect year-round weather, the cats who survive breed up to four times a year, and dogs three times, so our area is continuously filled with more and more animals. That’s where the Cuale Spay and Neuter Clinic comes in.
Since its inception in 2016, the Clinic has provided free sterilizations to over 4,000 cats and dogs. This is almost an unbelievable total! And yet, animals keep coming in large numbers and the numbers of surgeries performed has grown from 665 in 2016, to 1,280 in 2019.
The Cuale Clinic is independent and not a part of any charitable organization. It receives no government funding, but relies solely on donations given by people who see that these clinics are making a huge difference to our community. In 2019 alone, the Clinic spent $402,000 pesos for the spaying and neutering of 1,280 animals, funded entirely by generous donators.
Monies raised at the “Spay-ghetti and No Balls” dinner will be used exclusively towards the ongoing spaying and neutering of animals in and around Puerto Vallarta. If you are unable to attend, donations can also be made via their GoFundMe page.
