Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Just when you thought the curtain was closing on the 21st season of entertainment at The Palm Cabaret, more shows have been added through May. With folks getting vaccinated, many people are now venturing down to Mexico for a long-overdue vacation. The Palm is staying open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights with some popular shows that have proven to be crowd-favorites this season.
On Thursdays, April 15 & 22 at 9 pm you can catch the smash hit show, The Royals, starring Roy Cruz Gomez as Freddie Mercury, Maru Prado Conti as Lady Gaga, and Tonny Kenneth as Prince. Audiences absolutely adored this show and The Palm is thrilled to be able to once again offer this hit show, which could be extended into May.
Beginning April 23, Roy Gomez Cruz returns on Fridays with his tribute to the legendary Freddie Mercury. You can experience I Want It All-Freddy Mercury on Friday nights at 9 pm. Roy considers it an incredible honor to pay tribute to such a legendary performer. Larger than life, Freddie was a complex artist who is a challenge to portray. Roy sees every show as a wonderful privilege to honor and share the music and the persona of Freddie Mercury and Queen. This incredible show portrays the many voices of one of music’s most memorable stars.
On Saturdays at 9 pm (beginning April 17), you can see This is Gaga, starring Lady Gaga tribute artist and impersonator, Maru Prado Conti. The Palm is excited to be able to extend this show that has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Maru (from Argentina) decided to create her ‘This is Gaga’ Tribute out of enormous respect for Gaga as one of the most talented entertainers of our time. Maria admires Gaga for her amazing singing, songwriting, acting and iconic support of the LGBTQ community. In her lyrics, Lady Gaga represents the feelings and thoughts of many people who suffer bullying and discrimination, encouraging them to feel free and love themselves.
Branden & James are returning for two shows only on Fridays, April 23 & 30 at 7 pm. Come join them, Up Close & Personal as they play their favorite classical covers of familiar pop & rock songs, and tell stories about their relationship & musical upbringings in Australia & The USA. Branden will amaze you with the fabulous voice that won him runner-up on America’s Got Talent and you’ll love James’ breathtaking cello accompaniment!
Keith Tynes, a member of the historic group, The Platters, joins the lineup at The Palm Cabaret for 3 more shows on Thursdays, April 29, May 6 & May 13 at 7 pm. You’ll love hearing major and unforgettable hits like “Only You” and “The Great Pretender.” This great musical talent from Miami has performed on some of the world’s most important stages and theaters. Keith is an expressive vocal master. His powerful presence and charisma on stage are the result of his extensive career and experience in the music world. Keith is an authentic and legendary voice of Soul, Motown, R&B and Pop.
Don’t miss these exciting performances at The Palm Cabaret. Tonny Kenneth (from the Prince Tribute) is also developing a new Prince tribute show that he’ll be performing at The Palm on Sundays April 25 and May 2 at 9:00 pm.
