The highlight is the Peregrinación de los Favorecidos (Pilgrimage of the Favored), attracting up to 20,000 participants on December 12. Movie Picnic: Every Thursday evening until May, you can experience the magic of outdoor cinema at Movie Picnic. Jardín de Luna transforms into a delightful open-air theater where you can enjoy classic films under a starlit sky. It’s a wonderful chance to relax with friends or a loved one, sharing laughter and snacks in a cozy atmosphere. Plus, for those wanting to brush up on their Spanish, the last Friday of each month features films in Spanish, and what’s not to love about enjoying a great movie while enhancing your language skills!
Cirque du Volcanes: Join the fun at Cirque du Volcanes on December 11. This interactive circus extravaganza is not only entertaining but also supports a worthy cause, the Volcanes Community School, helping local students break the cycle of poverty through education.
Come out to MarGi Event Space in Puerto Magico for electrifying performances, engaging games, and a feast of delicious food and drinks. General admission tickets are priced at $1000 MX, with a VIP upgrade available for $500 MX more. Attend for a thrilling experience while making a difference in the community.
Second Sunday Concert Series: Get into the holiday spirit at the Second Sunday Concert Series on December 14. This festive event, hosted by the choir at Christ Church by the Sea, features a joyful lineup of Christmas favorites like Jingle Bells and Feliz Navidad.
Kicking off at 4 pm, the concert invites community participation, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere perfect for spreading cheer. There’s a free-will offering at the door, allowing everyone to contribute as they can. It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate with fellow locals and bask in the spirit of the season.
