Excitement Builds for 2022 Vallarta Garden Club Gala

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – As the date draws nearer, excitement is building for the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club’s Black, White and Bling! Gala, set to be held at Oscar’s Restaurant at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

During this year’s Fundraising Gala, the Garden Club will hold a special raffle, and one lucky winner will receive a lovely day trip for 6 to the incredibly beautiful Rancho Primavera in El Tuito. Raffle tickets will be sold for 100 pesos each, 6 for 500 pesos or 12 chances for 1,000 pesos.

Rancho Primavera is a quiet retreat just 1 hour south of Puerto Vallarta, but feels world’s away from the hustle and bustle of city life. In 1996, the owners purchased this former mango and cattle ranch and proceeded to heal its overgrazed lands by planting over 5000 native trees on the 200 acres and were quickly rewarded by a return of the native birds and wildlife.

Nowadays, it’s a top destination for bird-watching groups and nature lovers. The 200 acres of ranch supports over 256 species of birds, including parrots, trogans, cuckoos and 16 types of hummingbirds! And, depending upon the time of year, you may also see many neotropical migrants like sparrows and warblers. Birding tour groups regularly visit and cherish Rancho Primavera for its birdlife and solitude.

The trip will include private van transportation for 6, lunch with wine, water and soft drinks, a tour of the ranch, and time to stroll the grounds to check out the beautiful environment. Bonnie Jauregui, the owner of Rancho Primavera and a long-time supporter of the Vallarta Garden Club, will be your host for the excursion. It’s such a relaxing place and you and your friends will really enjoy the outing.
