Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – The International Friendship Club (IFC) celebrated a significant achievement with its 5th Annual Día de la Amistad/Valentine’s Day 50/50 Raffle. Ticket sales soared to an impressive $251,000 pesos, surpassing the $200,000 peso goal and making it the most successful raffle in the event’s history.
Enthusiasm for the cause culminated in a live drawing at the IFC clubhouse on Valentine’s Day, where three fortunate winners shared $125,500 pesos in prize money.
Bert Cehovet from Ruston, Washington, claimed the first prize of $62,750 pesos. Expressing his support, Cehovet stated, “I am pleased to be able to help fund the ongoing charitable work of the IFC.”
Kevin Shanley of Chicago, Illinois, won the second prize of $37,650 pesos, adding, “There is no better way to express gratitude to the IFC for its mission and their direct aid to the community.”
Cindy Kane from Bonita Springs, Florida, took home the third prize of $25,100 pesos, praising the IFC as “an outstanding organization doing incredible things for the children.”
Adding to the excitement, the winners generously donated a significant portion of their winnings back to the IFC. This heartwarming gesture brought the total raised for local charities to an astounding $220,000 pesos (almost $11,000 USD!). All proceeds will directly benefit IFC’s charitable giving programs.
