Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The family and caregiving team in Puerto Vallarta for pianist Dennis Crow would like to give an update on Dennis’ health. On January 6, 2024, Dennis was suddenly taken ill and entered the ER, where he learned that he had both kidney and liver failure, among other issues.
After discussing the diagnosis with his doctor and sister, he decided that he did not want exploratory surgery. He chose to go home and be made as comfortable as possible.
Dennis’ ER and medical expenses, ambulance, home health, nurse and doctor, plus impending funeral expenses are adding up. We kindly ask those who can, to please make a donation to Dennis Crow’s “Last Curtain Call” and give him a STANDING OVATION of any amount, to this, his last performance. There will also be an opportunity to attend a fundraiser on Open Mic Night with host, the legendary Gouda Gabor, at Nacho Daddy on Tuesday, January 23 at 7:30 pm.

Dennis Crow has performed at most of the music venues in and around Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romantica over the years. He was especially active at Incanto Vallarta, accompanying on piano many of the entertainers, and performing in the piano bar. Most recently, Dennis could be heard weekly at Garbo’s. Dennis also spent many summers performing in Ogunquit, Maine. A genuinely nice guy and an incredible pianist, Dennis Crow will be greatly missed by PV’s music community.
