Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – On Sunday, March 10, Villa Tita, nestled in the serene Amapas area of Zona Romantica, will set the stage for the Black and White Gala, a star-studded event raising funds for the expansion of the Vallarta School for Girls.
Founded in February 2023 by Francie Nguyen and Cecil Kerfont, the Vallarta School for Girls, supported by the Girls Education Fund, goes beyond education, providing a holistic experience with free supplies, a library, computers, uniforms, books, and transportation. The school has not only imparted knowledge but has become a beacon of hope, instilling a love for learning and nurturing a thirst for knowledge among its students.
The unexpected surge in enrollment has posed a new challenge – the current facility is bursting at the seams, emphasizing the urgent need for a larger and safer space. The Black & White Gala is a crucial part of a broader fundraising campaign aiming to raise $5,000,000 pesos to construct a secure school building that can accommodate up to 100 underprivileged girls. The target is to have the new facility ready by January 2025.
The Gala promises an extraordinary evening featuring exquisite food, cocktails, live music with Siego Guerrero, Victor de Espirito, Brian Peters, and a special appearance by American Idol alum Taya London, topped with dancing – all in support of a noble cause.
The proceeds will contribute to constructing a larger school, ensuring that by 2025, these underprivileged girls have access to a secure and empowering educational environment. The impact is profound, as educated girls are more likely to evolve into strong and influential women, capable of making informed decisions and positively contributing to society.
Tickets for the Black & White Gala are just $150 USD and are available online at girlsedfund.org, offering attendees an opportunity to enjoy a memorable night while leaving a lasting impact on the lives of these girls. Special overnight stay packages at Villa Tita are also available, providing an immersive experience. For further details, contact admin(at)girlsedfund.com.
