APRIL 10 UPDATE: I had the opportunity last Monday to see this spectacular new show. Kudos go out to Waleska Rondon, Richard Carnegie and the Starboys & Stargirls and producer extraordinaire, Chris Lopez, for their phenomenal performance. The costumes are fabulous and the vocals are amazing. This production’s choreography is simply mind-blowing! The show (through song, video, & dance) guides the audience through the career and influence of Madonna. Richard Carnegie emcees the show with humor, camp and charisma. The audience spontaneously sings and dances along to their favorite Madonna tunes. This is a finely tuned tribute to one of Pop’s most legendary icons. If you are still in Vallarta, go see this show. You won’t be disappointed. It is certainly one of the best new shows this season, and it happens on Sundays at 9:30 pm through April.

Live vocals, original music, songs and choreography will take place on stage to tell the story of the brilliant career of Madonna, the Italian-American singer who dominated the world charts in the 80s and 90s and remains a global pop icon.
This musical concert is based on the energetic voice of Waleska, a singer and performer who transmits incredible energy, but above all her passion for the legendary Madonna. Featuring amazing choreography performed by the Starboys and Stargirls dancers, and produced by Chris Lopez, the Madonna Tribute Concert is sure to be another hit show at The Palm Cabaret!
Waleska Rondón was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Since childhood, she’s always had an interest in dancing, singing and acting. At the age 14, she had her first artistic opportunity in a youth TV program, where she participated as a dancer and imitated other artists, as well as a motivational speaker to young people. At school, she continued to participate in all kinds of musical events and belonged to the regional bagpipe group, the merengue group and the school choir.
At age 18 she attended the “AORA” singing school and later the “Entre Voces” for 3 additional years. She received a scholarship at the El Gran Ballet Sequences Dance Academy, where she spent 4 years studying the world of dance, while at the same time achieving a degree in Social Communication. Waleska danced with various artists for 7 years at events, music videos, and media tours in the country’s capital Caracas.
She also worked for 6 months in the famous Los Valentinos Circus in Maracaibo after which she performed as a singer and dancer in a female musical group and resumed dancing at the age of 27 when she moved to Costa Rica. Since arriving in Puerto Vallarta, she has dedicated herself to performance art in various shows and since 2022 has been part of the dancing team for the “Starboys” and now the “Stargirls.”
