During a recent press conference, Mayor Luis Munguía underscored the significant role of the Copa Jalisco, recognizing it as the premier soccer competition within the state, championed by the Government of Jalisco. He remarked, “This tournament holds a distinguished history, successfully fostering community engagement, promoting healthy lifestyles, and nurturing the emerging principles of the sport we deeply admire: soccer.”
Mayor Munguía further affirmed the unwavering support of the local administration for the Puerto Vallarta teams participating in the competition, which is scheduled to begin in mid-May. He expressed confidence that this comprehensive backing will empower the municipality to once again secure the coveted title, a feat accomplished in previous years.
