Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Becas Vallarta is Changing Lives Through Education, and you can help the children of Vallarta go to school while ‘having a ball,’ at this year’s Becas Ball. The Annual Becas Ball is Becas Vallarta A.C.’s largest fund raiser of the year with the funds used to give scholarships to Puerto Vallarta students with great ability but limited economic resources.
Get ready to be dazzled on Friday, March 6th, as the Club Regina in Marina Vallarta hosts the fabulous 2020 Becas Ball on their beautiful seaside Patio Los Arcos. Plans are coming to fruition and tickets are moving fast.
The theme of this year’s Ball is “Red Oriental” and the venue will be decorated accordingly to set the mood for the “social event of the season.” The dress code is black, red or gold gowns for the gals and for the guys, as always, no coat required.
The evening will begin in the lovely garden by the sea at 6:00 pm with a cocktail hour (included in the price of your ticket) provided by the Four Seasons Hotel Punta Mita. While you are enjoying the signature drinks from that famous five star hotel, you will have time to peruse the myriad of gifts and gift certificates up for bid in the Silent Auction.
For dinner, international award-winning chef, Gerardo Sandoval Hernández, has created a delicious 3-course menu that is sure to delight party-goers. A selection of red and white wines has been specially chosen to perfectly complement your meal.
For your dining pleasure, Grupo Prana will present a Chinese-themed show during dinner. Afterwards, Grupo Odisea from Ciudad Guzman will perform an “Orchestra Show” for your dancing pleasure. More than “just another band,” Odisea will present a spectacular show featuring beautiful girls and handsome men who will entertain you with their captivating voices and dancing skills.
This group has thrilled Ball goers for the last several years and never disappoints. This year will be no different, so get ready to dance the night away, until a fantastic fire works display at midnight signals the end of the 2020 Becas Ball.
This is Becas Vallarta’s major fundraiser, which hopefully will ensure that Puerto Vallarta’s brightest and best young people may continue in pursuit of their educational dreams. Come, eat, drink and make merry while actually changing the entire life of a young person who might one day become the Mayor of Puerto Vallarta or perhaps the President of Mexico!
