Puerto Vallarta Hosts Record-Breaking Three Kings Day Event

Puerto Vallarta marked Three Kings Day on Sunday with a community celebration that brought families together along the Malecón and set a new milestone for the city. The Mega Rosca de Reyes event was held on Sunday evening, drawing residents and visitors to share in one of Mexico’s most cherished traditions.

The centerpiece of the festivities featured an impressive traditional cake stretching approximately two kilometers in length. This massive pastry made its way along the coastline in a grand procession that began at the Malecón Lighthouse and concluded at the iconic Los Muertos Pier. To complement the treat, organizers established five dedicated hot chocolate stations, ensuring that attendees of all ages could enjoy a warm beverage while enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Entertainment played a key role throughout the evening. Families enjoyed the Magishow of the Three Kings, a performance created especially for young audiences, filled with magic, characters, and playful moments. The celebration continued with live music by the band Three Circus, which helped close the night on a joyful note.

To accommodate the large crowds and ensure the safety of pedestrians, local authorities implemented partial road closures along Olas Altas Street. For four hours, the stretch between Francisco I. Madero and Francisca Rodríguez remained dedicated to the festival, allowing the community to roam freely.

By the end of the evening, Puerto Vallarta had not only honored the tradition of Three Kings Day but also celebrated it in record-setting fashion, creating lasting memories around the largest Rosca de Reyes in the city’s history.
