Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – In celebration of Valentine’s Day, an impressive lineup of local and international musicians will perform a free concert at the Los Arcos del Malecón amphitheater in downtown Puerto Vallarta from 6:00–10:30 pm on Sunday, February 16.
Called the “Vallarta Love Festival,” the concert is meant to connect people culturally through music and to create an atmosphere of love, peace and harmony that plays such a big part in Valentine’s Day celebrations around the world.
Here in Mexico, Valentine’s Day is known as El Día de Amor y Amistad, or “the Day of Love and Friendship,” and it is a time to celebrate love, get love, and give love to everyone around us.
The talented national and international artists who will be performing at the Vallarta Love Festival support the idea of celebrating love and understanding – not just in February, but all year long.
The event’s organizers have selected some of Vallarta’s most beloved performers for this unique concert, including:

And, since “it is through a heart, a universal symbol of love, that the creative work of plastic artists is reflected,” Puerto Vallarta from the Heart for the World, a spectacular exhibition of beautifully painted sculptures shaped like – you guessed it! – hearts, will add to the amorous atmosphere on the Malecón.
