SEAPAL to Connect New Water Lines on Basilio Badillo Tuesday

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – On Tuesday, February 28, SEAPAL will simultaneously connect new water lines at five points on Basilio Badillo street, which will cause water shortages from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm in the Emiliano Zapata, El Centro and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods.

In addition to the lack of water in these neighborhoods on Tuesday, the section between Olas Altas and Ignacio L. Vallarta on Basilio Badillo street will be completely closed to traffic, and one of the lanes at the Constitución street intersection will be restricted.

The tasks to continue modernizing the infrastructure and improving the quality of the drinking water and drainage service in this area of the municipality, which SEAPAL Vallarta began on May 30, 2022, are almost complete.

The works to be performed tomorrow, called pipe junctions, consist of interconnecting the recently rehabilitated lines with the drinking water network, so that they are incorporated into the distribution of the vital liquid to Vallarta homes.

SEAPAL Vallarta thanks the neighbors and merchants for their support and patience during the execution of these works, recalling their long-term scope to anticipate the increase in demand for services due to the growth of the area.
