The Palm Cabaret is swinging into the season with Sinatra & Bublé: That’s Life, a high-energy showcase starring Nacho Granados and Armando Chakam, produced by Chris Lopez. This dynamic duo brings the timeless music of Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé to life, turning every song into a story and every note into a celebration.
The evening takes flight with a live three-piece band that injects pure electricity into the room. Pianist Alexis Macias, his son Alexis Jr. on electric upright bass, and Diana Luna on saxophone set a warm, rich soundscape that keeps the audience dancing in their seats from the first downbeat to the final bow. Their crisp arrangements give classic songs a fresh spark, making each moment feel new again.
Nacho and Armando shine both as soloists and as a team. Their duets – Fly Me to the Moon, Come Fly With Me, For Once in My Life, and That’s Life – highlight their chemistry and vocal power. Nacho brings Sinatra’s cool charm to Strangers in the Night and I’ve Got You Under My Skin, while Armando channels Bublé with soul-stirring versions of Me & Mrs. Jones and Fever. When they join forces on Nina Simone’s Feeling Good, the harmonies hit with thrilling force.

In one of the most touching moments of the night, Nacho and Armando step backstage for a quick wardrobe change, giving pianist Alexis Macias the spotlight. He not only played but sang an extraordinarily moving rendition of My Funny Valentine, delivering a performance so heartfelt and skillful that the room fell completely still. His blend of smooth vocals and expressive piano work created one of the most memorable moments of the show.
Moments later, Nacho returns to share a tender story about his father before launching into a powerful performance of My Way, honoring the advice his father once gave him: “All great singers must sing this song.”
The finale lifts the room even higher. The duo’s lively take on Crazy Little Thing Called Love fills the stage with energy, and their grand closing number, New York, New York, sends the audience out the door buzzing with excitement.
There are only two more chances to catch this extraordinary show – Wednesday, December 17, and a special holiday performance on Wednesday, December 24 – both at 5 pm. If you’re ready to swing, sway, and celebrate songs that have spanned generations, this is one show you don’t want to miss.
