Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Puerto Vallarta is set to shine with creativity as the Cultural Centers present their end-of-season showcases this June. The community is invited to enjoy performances and exhibitions from local students who have spent months developing their artistic skills in a wide variety of workshops.
These free public events will take place on Thursday, June 26 at the Cuale Cultural Center Auditorium, Friday, June 27 at the El Pitillal Cultural Center, and Monday, June 30 at La Lija, all at 5:00 pm. Each showcase will feature a blend of theater, dance, music, painting, chess, baking, and more – demonstrating the depth and diversity of talent throughout Vallarta.

Organized by the Vallarta Institute of Culture, under the direction of Guadalupe Gómez Basulto, the showcases are an opportunity to celebrate creativity and the positive impact of accessible cultural programming. Supported by the administration of Luis Munguía, the city continues to strengthen its investment in arts and culture at the neighborhood level.
“This is a great opportunity to see what’s happening in our cultural centers and be inspired to take part,” said Anayanzi Valencia Sandoval, academic coordinator of the Institute, as she invited families to attend.
The events not only honor the dedication of the participants and instructors, but also serve to encourage others in the community to explore their own creative interests. With free admission, these showcases are a welcoming space for all to celebrate the artistic spirit of Puerto Vallarta.
