The flight, operated by an Embraer E175 aircraft with 76 seats, will whisk passengers to the glitzy American city in just 3 hours and 30 minutes.

“This route is of great importance for our area, serving as a bridge to this prominent American tourist destination. It represents another boost for the growth of our air traffic, which has surged by 10% this year compared to the same period in 2022,” said Cryshtian Amador Lizardi, director of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
The flight operates four times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, offering an average of 1,216 monthly seats to Las Vegas. This increased accessibility is sure to attract more visitors, further strengthening the ties between the two destinations.
Luis Villaseñor Nolasco, director of the Puerto Vallarta Public Trust for Tourism Promotion and Advertising, highlighted the commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences. “This connection will significantly contribute to the arrival of passengers and strengthen the ties between Las Vegas and Puerto Vallarta,” said Nolasco.
For Alaska Airlines, the Las Vegas route marks a milestone in their 35-year history of flying to Mexico. Miguel Arreola, Station Manager of Alaska Airlines, expressed pride in the airline’s growing presence in the region, saying “This new destination is a testament to the 35 years of successful flights to Mexico by Alaska Airlines. The airline currently operates seven different direct routes to the United States, including the latest addition, Las Vegas.”
