¡Vive la Fiesta! a Spectacular Event for a Noble Cause

On September 13th, Puerto Vallarta will come alive with the sounds of music and the spirit of community. The Puerto Vallarta-Santa Barbara Sister Cities Committee will host ¡Vive la Fiesta!, a spectacular event that promises to be both entertaining and impactful.

Proceeds from the show will go toward the construction of a much-needed multipurpose hall in Colonia Educación. This space will serve as a community hub, providing essential services and fostering cultural exchanges between Puerto Vallarta and its sister city, Santa Barbara.

The evening promises a spectacular performance, featuring the enchanting voices of Iliann Herenka and José María “Chema” Curiel, the dynamic moves of the Vallarta Azteca folk group, and the stirring music of Mariachi Internacional de México. Held at Teatro Vallarta, the event is set to be a cultural celebration with a purpose, blending exceptional talent with a cause that benefits the entire community.

The municipal government has enthusiastically endorsed this cultural celebration, recognizing its significance for the community. As Tourism and Economic Development Director Christian Preciado Cázares stated, “Events like these are invaluable to Puerto Vallarta, especially those that benefit our most vulnerable citizens.”

The Sister Cities Committee has been instrumental in organizing this event, with the goal of building a community hub that will serve as a gathering place for residents and visitors alike. According to Francisco García, President of the Sister Cities Committee, the planned multipurpose hall will provide healthcare services, host work sessions, and welcome visitors from Santa Barbara, strengthening the ties between the two cities. “Our goal is to create a space that will begin hosting events within two years,” García shared during a press conference.

Tickets for ¡Vive la Fiesta! are available at the Teatro Vallarta box office or by calling 322-103-2265, 322-141-8014, or 322-227-6249. Prices range from 250 to 350 pesos, depending on seat location. Additionally, 50 free tickets will be distributed to those unable to afford attendance, ensuring everyone can be part of this inspiring event. Each ticket purchase also enters attendees into a raffle.

The press conference also featured Lupita Bonilla, the committee’s treasurer, Andrés Famanía, and the featured artists, who provided a sneak peek of the extraordinary performances to come. ¡Vive la Fiesta! promises to be an unforgettable night of culture and community, all for a noble cause.
