Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The SPCA de Puerto Vallarta has been saving animal lives for years now and, since Hurricane Nora destroyed their sanctuary in August of 2021, they require some help themselves. So let’s get together as a community and help make a positive change.
Make plans now to come out to Ruffy’s Dog Club & Cantina on the Isla Rio Cuale on Friday, November 18 from 6-9 pm, for ‘Ruffy’s To The Rescue!’, a benefit hosted by Louis Whitaker that hopes to raise $200,000 pesos to help the SPCA de PV rebuild what was lost.
There will be live entertainment with Louis Whitaker, a DJ, food, and beverages, raffles, prizes, and a silent auction with items worth over $30,000 MXN!
Tickets start at $1000 MXN (general admission with food & beverages and one raffle ticket)
Vip tickets: $2000 MXN (preferred seating, call liquor, and two raffle tickets)
Table for 10: $8000 MXN (2 free admission tickets, ten free raffle tickets)
Live entertainment with Louis Whitaker, a DJ, food, and beverages are all included in the ticket price. VIP ticket holders will receive preferred seating. A limited cash bar and menu is also available for those requiring additional food or beverage not provided by the event donors.

The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and health care efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals. In January 2012 they opened a sanctuary on the outskirts of town. It was a no-kill shelter that could house up to 130 animals at once. The people at the shelter are devoted to the animal’s physical and emotional rehabilitation and everyone is invite to come out and interact with the animals.
