Residents and City Unite to Enhance Security in Marina Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – In a collaborative effort to enhance public safety in the Marina Vallarta neighborhood, the Marina Vallarta Residents Association recently presented two patrol vehicles to local authorities. These vehicles will augment existing security measures and complement the municipal government’s delivery of two all-terrain vehicles to support surveillance efforts in the subdivision.

Mayor Luis Munguía emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating, “The reinforcement of public security in the municipality, particularly within our tourist zones, reflects our unwavering commitment to making Puerto Vallarta one of the safest destinations in the nation. We strive to ensure that visitors can fully enjoy their stay with complete peace of mind.”

The residents’ association, led by President Enrique Alfonso Camargo Treviño, has consistently demonstrated its dedication to community safety. The newly donated patrol car, funded by resident contributions, joins a fleet of vehicles previously provided by the association, including motorcycles, bicycles, and a security booth.

“We are proud to support the ongoing efforts to enhance security in Marina Vallarta,” stated Mr. Treviño. “This donation, along with our previous contributions, reflects the collective commitment of our residents to a safer community.”

In addition to the new patrol vehicles, Mayor Munguía announced plans to reinforce public lighting maintenance in collaboration with the association. This improvement aims to enhance safety and complement patrol efforts.

The event underscored the vital importance of collaborative efforts between the community and authorities in ensuring the safety and well-being of both residents and visitors to Marina Vallarta.

Jorge Antonio García, the association’s manager, expressed his satisfaction with this collaborative approach, stating, “Marina Vallarta exemplifies a model community where residents actively partner with authorities to enhance the quality of life for all. These collective actions not only benefit the community but also contribute to the overall success of Puerto Vallarta as a premier tourist destination.”

With the addition of these four new patrol vehicles, Marina Vallarta will experience a significant increase in police presence and surveillance, further bolstering the safety and security of this prestigious neighborhood.
