Marina Vallarta Invites All to Paint the Boca Negra Mural

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Marina Vallarta is turning art into a community celebration with the launch of the Boca Negra Mural project – an initiative led by the Marina Vallarta Residents Association to promote tourism and creativity in one of the city’s most scenic areas.

Stretching over 500 meters along Bocanegra Street, this impressive mural is open to contributions from local residents, schools, organizations, and visitors alike. Each participant can paint a 10-meter-long by two-meter-high section of the wall, adding their own creative voice to a growing masterpiece inspired by Puerto Vallarta’s natural and cultural beauty.

Themes showcased include marine life, tropical landscapes, beach scenes, and nautical activities—offering a colorful reflection of the region’s charm. The mural is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, encouraging even those with no artistic experience to leave their mark.

Bocanegra Street, known for its ocean views and access to public areas, serves as the perfect backdrop. The mural is already becoming a visual landmark, drawing attention from passersby who enjoy its evolving artwork alongside views of the bay, golf course, and sunsets over the Pacific ocean.

More than just an art project, the Boca Negra Mural aims to foster pride, participation, and a shared identity. It is expected to become both a neighborhood centerpiece and a new point of interest for tourists.

The Association’s board oversees the project’s planning and execution. Those interested in participating can contact 322 216 9599 for more information.

With strong community support, the mural promises to become a lasting symbol of collaboration and creativity, enhancing both the artistic and touristic appeal of Marina Vallarta.
