Lo de Marcos, Nayarit – We are a few weeks away from the Social Event of the Season – the Twelfth Annual Taste of Lo de Marcos! This important community fundraiser just keeps getting better and better, and this year’s event, set to be held on Sunday, February 21, 2026 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in the town’s Central Plaza, promises to be bigger and bolder than ever before!
This year’s Taste of Lo de Marcos will feature LIVE music from 4:30 pm until closing, along with local restaurants serving meals and ‘tastes’ that range from tacos and pizza to Five Star Dining and amazing desserts. There will also be several Artisanal Booths offering unique handcrafted items and jewelry for purchase scattered throughout the event that are sure to satisfy the shopper in all of us.
The Taste of Lo de Marcos is planned and organized by Galvan Real Estate and Services every year in order to bring more attention to the town and to raise money for the non-profit organizations that work to preserve the town’s unparalleled and unspoiled beauty.
The funds raised at this event will be donated to the Giving Tree Program and will benefit the many programs that it supports in town. Established over a decade ago, the program has consistently championed local initiatives, supporting everything from sports teams and educational institutions to animal shelters and cherished town events.

With Free Live Music, food and beverages for sale and hand selected Artisanal Booths, this event has something that calls out directly to each of us. For those looking to spend the afternoon and evening in comfort, chairs will be available for rent during the event.
