Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – Young adventurers are invited to embark on a month-long journey of creativity, learning, and fun as Biblioteca Los Mangos prepares to launch its 2026 Summer Camp. Designed for children ages 3 to 12, this year’s pirate-themed program promises an exciting mix of educational and recreational activities throughout July.
Hosted at the Los Mangos Cultural Center Library, the annual camp has become a favorite summer tradition for local families. Each year, organizers create a program that encourages children to explore new interests, develop skills, and build friendships in a safe environment.
The 2026 edition invites campers to climb aboard an imaginary pirate ship and set sail on an adventure filled with hands-on activities and creative exploration. The camp’s schedule includes dance, painting, crafts, sports, children’s yoga, taekwondo, clay sculpture, first aid, and Mexican Sign Language (LSM), giving participants a wide range of opportunities to discover new talents and interests.
Widely recognized as a standout summer program in the region, the camp seamlessly blends recreation with cultural enrichment. Every day is carefully planned to inspire imagination while supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development. Through teamwork, artistic expression, and active play, campers gain experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
The four-week program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., July 6 through July 31, 2026. All activities are conducted in Spanish, making it an excellent opportunity for children to strengthen their language skills while enjoying a summer filled with adventure.
