Puerto Vallarta has officially launched a premier destination for sports and entertainment with the opening of the Vibra Jalisco Fan Zone. Located along 300 meters of beachfront adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel, this sprawling 31,000-square-meter complex offers residents and international travelers a unified space to celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ and enjoy a diverse calendar of cultural events.
The centerpiece of this new attraction is the Puerto Vallarta Beach Park Dome, also known as the “Domósfera”. As the first immersive dome of its kind in Latin America and the third-largest globally, this geodesic structure stands 14 meters high and spans 27 meters in diameter. By projecting 360-degree visuals across its curved interior, the dome provides a unique sensory experience that envelops the audience.

Visitors can expect a rotating schedule of science and space exploration content, art installations, and wellness-focused programming. A notable highlight is the Latin American premiere of a 22-minute audiovisual journey that blends the visionary digital art of Android Jones with ancient Vedic wisdom from India, encouraging audiences to explore the concepts of consciousness through a unique audiovisual narrative.
Beyond the dome, the complex serves as a hub for the World Cup, broadcasting 50 tournament matches on high-definition screens with surround sound. While the site is designed to accommodate more guests, the main stage and dome areas provide specialized viewing spots for approximately 1,000 spectators per match. These screenings are part of a larger investment of 60 million pesos from the city’s Tourism Trust, ensuring that the facility remains a cornerstone of local activity for the next six months.
The venue operates daily from 10:00 am until midnight, offering a comprehensive suite of amenities to support an all-day guest experience. Attendees can explore a food court featuring over 40 vendors showcasing the flavors of Jalisco, alongside four bars specializing in local tequila and craft mixology. Families are also well-catered for with a dedicated children’s area and various soccer-themed interactive activities.
Entertainment remains a primary focus for the summer season, with a robust musical lineup scheduled to grace the main stage. The concert series will feature performances by DJ Tadeo Fernández, The Criminal Sounds, Cartel de los Hipopótamos, Paulina Ricci, and Save The Rabbits. Jalisco Tourism Secretary Michelle Fridman confirmed that the popular group Los Auténticos Decadentes will join the lineup, which is headlined by singer Ximena Sariñana on July 4.
The dome and its surrounding facilities will remain open to the public free of charge until mid-December, marking a significant expansion of Puerto Vallarta’s cultural and tourist offerings for the year.
