Opening Monday, January 15 – 5:30 pm
The original Best of Broadway was the brainchild of the late and great Danny Mininni. He had a dream of directing a show featuring singing and dancing to the music of his favorite Broadway musicals! In 2019, his dream came true when he joined forces with Marsha Ward Ross as musical director and Alfonso Lopez as producer. That show was one of the most successful shows Act2PV has ever had!
Well, we are happy to announce that the Best of Broadway 2.0 opens on Monday, January 15 and it is better than ever with brand-new songs from 35 different musicals! It will knock your socks off! Featuring medleys sung in 4-part harmony, solos, duets, a capella songs and professional dancing, this cast is made up of 7 of the best performers in Puerto Vallarta, including Brenda Gavino, Sarah Heckbart, Gabriela Heart, Ximena Esparza, Victor do Espirito, Alfredo Mendoza and Act2PV’s talented choreographer, Edgar Roman.
This is definitely a show that will bring back memories, and maybe even a tear to your eye with songs from Disney, Wicked, My Fair Lady, Sondheim, Carousel, Annie Get Your Gun, Company, Phantom of the Opera, Billy Elliot, Mary Poppins, The Lion King and so many more! You spoke and we listened. Lorena Peril is finally coming back to Puerto Vallarta! This incredible young woman won the hearts of everyone in Vallarta with her incredible personality and talent (not to mention that she’s not too hard to look at)! She sings and she dances and she’s a true comedian, too. She has been busy as a headliner in Las Vega and has won all kinds of accolades in Las Vegas, too. She travels around the country singing the National Anthem at sports shows, too. Lorena is definitely a favorite here in Puerto Vallarta and her shows are going to sell out quickly, so be sure to get yours!
