Hedwig And The Angry Inch is a critically acclaimed and multiple Tony Award-winning Broadway rock theater hit, which tells the story of the “internationally ignored”; genderqueer punk-rock singer, Hedwig – a German immigrant who is the victim of a botched sex-change operation. The story describes her search for stardom and love and is told by Hedwig directly to the audience through monologue. The show is in the form of a rock concert and features 12 hard-rocking songs with a live band. Hedwig And The Angry Inch is a musically genius wild ride… funny, touching, and ultimately inspiring to anyone who has felt life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile. Jordon Carnegie (Hedwig) has been a performer for over 20 years. He received a BroadwayWorld nomination for Best Actor in a Musical in a 2015 regional production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Jordon is joined by vocal powerhouse Yoalli Guerrero as Yitzak, his co-star and backing vocalist. The show’s run time is 90 minutes – with no intermission. Maru Prado Conti celebrates the softer side of Lady Gaga in her new personal tribute to the legend. For a night of unforgettable music with the one and only Lady Gaga, Maru will serenade with her mesmerizing jazz and classic hits. Experience songs from Gaga’s Tony Bennett tours, her jazz concerts and her soulful, reflective tunes that will speak to your heart! This in-person event promises to be a night to remember, filled with beautiful melodies and incredible vocals with Maru Prado Conti as Gaga, Edgar Bernache on piano and Luis Rascón on cello. Daniel Celis presents his popular show, The Rocketman, featuring themes from Elton John on Sundays, May 5, 19 & 26 at 8:00 pm. Daniel always presents an exciting nightclub-style show that thrills his audience. You’ll see new fantastic costumes, dancers, video enhancements and a professional, entertaining tribute. And you’ll love his “Tiny Dancer.”
Don’t miss the Madonna Tribute show starring Waleska. This performance, with a sweet repertoire of songs for Madonna fans, exceeds all expectations. Live vocals, original music, songs and choreography will take place on stage to tell the story of the brilliant career of Madonna, the Italian-American singer who dominated the world charts in the 80s and 90s and remains a global pop icon. Every Friday at 8:00 pm in May, the ever-so-talented Roy Gomez Cruz presents The Epic Freddie Mercury: The Legend Live On. This spectacular live tribute is one of the best shows ever to grace a Vallarta stage. The music of Queen lives on and is celebrated in this spectacular tribute!
On Saturdays at 9:30 pm, Maru Prado Conti dazzles in Born This Way: The Best of Gaga. This high-energy performance is much more than just a tribute show. Maru and her dancers deliver perhaps the finest show ever to appear on Vallarta’s live entertainment scene. The vocals, visuals, costumes, and choreography make this number-one show an event not to be missed when you’re in Puerto Vallarta. There is nothing like it anywhere! The ever-popular Mama Tits is back with her new show, Guts and Glitter. Known for her inspirational pep talks and incredible vocals, Mama Tits takes the stage on Saturdays at 8:00 pm with her special brand of wisdom and soulful tunes. Joined again by Diego Guerrero, this show is a must-see! Come and listen to Mama set you on the right path. This show is geared toward the LGBTQ community, but is enjoyed by all!
The Rihanna Tribute from producer and director Chris Lopez stars Cecille, (the drag artist who stars in the Beyonce tribute). You’ll thrill to this emotional tribute with all-live vocals and incredible choreography and dance (Starboys & Stargirls). Changes of costumes, identical representations, audiovisuals and outstanding choreography make this a hit! Don’t miss this show on Fridays at 9:30 pm.
Beyond Beyonce is amazing beyond belief. Cecille and The StarBoy/Girl Dancers (directed by Chris Lopez) offer another smash hit, The Rihanna Tribute. The stunningly beautiful Cecille transforms seemingly effortlessly to bring us much more than a tribute to the star originating from Barbados. The look, the costumes, the choreography and the voice, all come together to bring to life all of Rihanna’s top hits. Don’t miss these shows on Thursdays at 9:30 pm.
Boys on Fire returns on Sunday, May 26th at 9:30 pm with their Male Burlesque Cabaret Show that has become a favorite with Vallarta audiences. Boys on Fire will absolutely fire up your Sexual Fantasies with their amazing choreography and a non-stop musical journey that takes you to the edge and over. There’s never a dull moment with Boys on Fire!
