You’ve watched her grow up on the Act2PV stage from her first role at age 11 in A Chorus Line, to participating in practically every other musical since (including her current lead role as Sophie in Mamma Mia!). Now, through song and story, Ximena will share her own story by exploring lots of issues, including divine feminity, empowerment, sensuality, and maybe even a few “daddy” issues, too. Oh, and diamonds, yes diamonds, because diamonds are a girl’s best friend! You’ve never seen her like this as she steps out of the shadows of childhood and into the mysteries of womanhood in this hot, hot show! Singing songs from “the good old days” that were sung by Marilyn Monroe, Lesley Gore, Nancy Sinatra, Peggy Lee, and many more, Ximena promises to rock your world!

She is an American drag performer, reality television personality, and recording artist who is a fixture in the Southern California drag scene and appeared on the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. David Sabella, the award-winning singer and original cast costar of the Broadway mega musical Chicago (1996) is in town this season appearing at Act2PV, entertaining audiences as the “stunning force of nature,” Amanda Reckonwith: DIVA 2.0. Now, at the request of his fans and friends, David is taking center stage as HIMSELF in his award-winning show (and album) called Time Heals. An invigorating look at great American standards, rearranged for the 21st century, “Time Heals” is a harmonious blend of songs that, using sensitivity and humor, are structured like a play that delves into the complexities of life. Touching on themes of drama, gay marriage, gay divorce, death, and fatherhood, Sabella weaves a beautiful narrative that not only entertains but also prompts introspection. His songs, accompanied by his musical director, Broadway’s own Mark Hartman, are electrifying arrangements and offer a unique and intimate experience. This not-to-be-missed show will be performed at Act2PV for ONE NIGHT ONLY on February 8 at 5:00 pm.
