New Shows & Returning Favorites at The Palm in January

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – New shows and returning favorites light up the stage at The Palm Cabaret in January. This month’s line-up includes some of Puerto Vallarta’s favorite acts, along with an eclectic mix of professional shows performed by talented entertainers from around the world.

Kimberly La Rue, the creator, director, producer and choreographer of Follies Vallarta, is one of the most accomplished producers in the Vallarta Cabaret Scene, drawing from a rich background in music, dance and theater. Now she brings a new show, ‘On Broadway’ to The Palm on Monday nights. Featuring vocalists Hal Bonta, Cate Elizabeth Valcic, E Andrew Sands and Rana Kangas-Kent, along with the very talented Follies Vallarta dancers, Sabrina Islas, David Díaz, Nana Luna, Ulises Perez Torres and Carlos Camargo, this is a Must-See entertainment extravaganza!

Christine Deaver returns to The Palm Cabaret in January on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6 pm with her exciting new show, The Look of Love, showcasing the music of famed songwriter, Burt Bacharach. Christine will thrill her audience with Bacharach pop tunes along with amusing stories, audience participation, and always, first-rate vocals. With Christine Deaver, the music rolls effortlessly along and it is so clear why she is a true pro of Song, Stage and Comedy. Christine Deaver has a fun, interesting and entertaining new show to share with you… because she is The Ultimate Star!

Brian Justin Crum returns to The Palm Cabaret for 2 shows only on Jan 20th at 8 pm and Jan 27th at 9:30 pm. Brian is a singer-songwriter currently creating in Los Angeles. He is known for his soaring vocals and emotional storytelling. His first single “Show Me Love” reached #2 on the Billboard Dance charts and was named in the top 10 dance records of 2017 alongside Rihanna, Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran. He became a viral sensation with his cover of Radiohead’s “CREEP” on America’s Got Talent which has amassed over 100 Million views online and “Never Enough” which entered the iTunes Pop Charts.

He has had an expansive career in the Arts, getting his start on Broadway at just 17 years old. From “Wicked” and Pulitzer Prize winning “Next to Normal” to QUEENS rock theatrical “We Will Rock You” (where he got to perform alongside original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor). BJC has sold out concerts all over the world and has honed his sound along the way. The sonic landscape of his debut EP is inspired by the nightlife of Berlin. Pop melodies matched with house and techno beats really paint the picture of a year of personal growth.

Miss Butterfly, a Montreal-based drag superstar, is celebrating 20 years as a drag diva. She frequently spends part of the year in Puerto Vallarta performing in the Blue Chairs area of Zona Romantica. The Palm Cabaret is thrilled to have Miss Butterfly’s new show, Out of the Cocoon, debut on Sundays at 8 pm in January. Don’t miss Out of the Cocoon where you’ll experience superb lip-syncing, 12 costumes, dancers, comedy and more!

Elvis: It’s Now or Never, a joyous and touching Elvis Tribute, debuted in October, and has been such a huge hit here in Puerto Vallarta that, by popular demand, it will return on Tues, Jan 10th at 8:00 pm and on Fri, Jan 27th at 6:00 pm. Featuring iconic visuals, dancers, and an impeccable impersonation by singer/actor Jordon Carnegie, this show takes you on a journey through all decades of Elvis’ career starting with the 50’s and going through the 70’s. Expect to hear all your favorite Elvis tunes and to be dancing in the aisles! Jordon Carnegie is a two time Broadway World Nominee for best leading actor from Chicago, and has been performing as a singer/actor more than 20+ years.

Puerto Vallarta favorites Branden & James return this season with Disney & Divos: a musical celebration showcasing the magic of Disney song classics and the brilliant artistry of Josh Groban, Il Divo, and Andrea Bocelli. Says James Clark, the duo’s musical arranger and cellist, “We’re excited to present this dynamic and unique show. So much of Disney’s music is structured in a classical manner. We’ve discovered in the process of putting things together just how beautifully these musical concepts complement one another.”

Known worldwide for their unique musical style and effortless charm onstage, Branden & James will play eight performances from January 5th through February 4th, at The Palm Cabaret in Zona Romantica. Disney Divos happens at The Palm Cabaret on January 5, 9, 12, 26, February 2 & 4 at 6 pm and on Jan. 24 & 31 at 8 pm.

With a career spanning over twenty-three years, Kevin Levesque as Miss Conception has been delighting audiences around the world with his unique style of female illusion – “a Female Delusionist® if you will”, as Kevin puts it. From her beginnings in Toronto’s bar scene to selling out venues wherever she appears around the world, Miss C is a star!

She returns on Mondays and Thursdays at 8 pm starting January 5th with Villains. This hilarious parody of some of our favorite villains from the movies and TV , features on-stage transitions from one character to another, with costume changes that happen right before your eyes. Miss Conception’s one-woman, live singing shows, launch each year in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Provincetown Massachusetts. She also travels internationally and has opened shows for top comedians and entertainers.

On the high seas, Miss Conception is in demand as a featured performer on the ocean and river cruises throughout Europe (Spain, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Prague, Budapest, Italy, and France) with Brand Vacations and Concierge travel. Meghan Murphy returns to The Palm with her new show Meghan Murphy-Red Hot Diva on Mondays at 9:30 pm and Fridays at 6 pm beginning January 16th. Affectionately known as Big Red, Meghan took the entertainment scene by storm last season and audiences are thrilled to welcome her back! Meghan’s brand new solo show is a tribute to her favorite Divas – Judy, Liza, Barbara, Bette, Tina and more!

Freedom: The George Michael Experience is an electrifying, immersive, musical event celebrating the life and iconic songs of one of pop music’s greatest stars Starring and conceived by New York pop singer/songwriter Todd Alsup, this upbeat “club music cabaret” traces Michael’s trailblazing history through 20 of his most unforgettable hits – including Careless Whisper, Father Figure, Faith and Freedom ’90. With 5 shows only, don’t miss this spectacular performance on Jan 24, 30, Feb 4 at 9:30 pm and on January 27 at 8 pm and February 1 at 6 pm.

Boys on Fire International Edition brings together a cast of the finest men from Argentina, Mexico , Venezuela and Columbia in perhaps the sexiest male burlesque show ever. Sebastian Coronel has once again produced what is definitely the hottest ticket in town . This handsome troupe of dancers, singers and acrobats will take you on an enthralling adventure around the world celebrating beautiful men through music, costumes and dance. A show not to be missed. Parental guidance definitely suggested or even better, bring your parents. This show happens on Sundays at 9:30 pm.

After being the finalist on the El Retador TV show, Claude Cecille André, decided to delve one step further into the entertainment industry and created the Beyond Beyoncé Tribute Show (produced by Chris Lopez). With a show full of slick original choreography, jaw-dropping vocal ability, phenomenal costume changes, plenty of audience participation and even a few added extra surprises for your viewing pleasure, I guarantee that this unique one-of-a-kind show will leave you mesmerized and in disbelief that you have been up close and personal to the next best thing to Beyoncé herself. Catch this fabulous performance on Thursdays at 9:30 pm.

Every Tuesday at 6 pm, you can enjoy, I Want It All, a tribute to Freddie Mercury. Roy Gomez Cruz presents an energetic, visual and emotional performance as he shares the songs and life events of the legendary Freddie Mercury (of Queen). Roy’s dramatic style, vocals and theatrics add up to a top-notch performance. I Want It All brings you up close to this amazing rock icon. Every Friday night at 9:30 pm, you can enjoy, Don’t Stop Me Now, another incredible tribute to Freddie Mercury with the phenomenal, Roy Gomez Cruz as Queen’s lead singer.

Mama Tits presents Por Qué No? – Life is short on Wednesdays at 9:30 pm & Saturdays at 8 pm. “If life has taught us nothing recently it’s that the world can change in an instant. So what are you waiting for?! Buy that outfit, go on that trip, see that show and spoil yourself! You’re worth it!” – Mama Tits – Flamboyant, Soulful, Reflective, Defiant, Brave, Sexual and Always Hilariously Crass, audiences just love Mama Tits! Her show combines buttery smooth vocals with heartfelt stories and lessons that touch everyone willing to open their hearts and minds. Mamas’ show is mainly geared towards the LGBTQIA+ audience while also making room for friends and allies. The language is R rated, but the show is L rated for Love. Daniel Celis presents his popular show, Rocketman, featuring themes from Elton John on Sundays at 6 pm. Daniel always presents an exciting nightclub-style show that thrills his audience. You’ll see new fantastic costumes, dancers, video enhancements and a professional, entertaining tribute.

AirOtic Soirée continues with a new, one-of-a-kind event that combines a circus show with the excitement of a cabaret, all performed with stunning aerial acrobatics. This show is hosted at Industry on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm. Don’t miss this exciting performance of sex, burlesque and circus!

This Is GAGA starring Maru Prado Conti has been running for several years with sold-out performances for good reason. This high-energy performance is much more than just a tribute show. Maru and her dancers deliver one of the finest show ever to appear in Vallarta entertainment. The phenomenal success of this show continues on Saturdays at 9:30 pm with a new, original performance added on Wednesdays at 8 pm. Applause, features Gaga signature tunes along with new Gaga songs and dance routines that are simply amazing. Both shows are a MUST SEE There is nothing like them anywhere!

Sutton Lee Seymour debuted Glamazon Prime in November.. Her shows this season happen Tuesdays at 9:30 pm and Fridays at 8 pm. Sutton Lee Seymour is New York City’s Live-Singing Comedy Queen of Stage and Screen, having performed with Atlantis Events on gay cruises and resort vacations, along with making appearances on Bravo TV’s Watch What Happens and Live with Andy Cohen! She is very quick, sharp and theatrical and her singing voice is outstanding. She delivers a well-designed, top-notch show, as a skilled and totally adorable, musical theater professional. Seymour is outrageously funny, with a dramatic stage presence and a complete command of the production. She is beyond delicious as she sings, acts and communicates in a wonderfully engaging way. Glamazon Prime is sure to appeal to a wide audience. You’ll leave the show a little in love with this gal!
