Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – For the first time ever, the International Friendship Club (IFC) will host the Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra, who will give a concert in the IFC’s courtyard to raise funds for the benefit of IFC charities – on February 13, 2022, Superbowl Sunday.
Doors will open 2:30 pm and the concert will run from 3:00 to 4:30, which will give football fans an hour before kickoff time (5:30) to arrive at parties or meet up with buddies saving seats at the sports bar.

The Salty Paw Jazz Orchestra was established by Victor Kris in September 2016 and has since come under the umbrella of the Asociacion Civil, I AM PV, Instituto de Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta. IAMPV is led by Daniel Oliveros, who will conduct the Salty Paw Concert. Mr. Oliveros also conducts the Orquesta Sinfonica Vallarta (OSV – formerly named the Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra).
The International Friendship Club supports many charities, among them, a program to provide cleft palate surgery to people who would otherwise be unable to afford it. Other organizations include the Santa Barbara Rehabilitation Clinic; Pasitos de Luz, which helps special needs children; the Volcanes Kids Education Project (VKEP), SETAC (HIV education and prevention and baby formula to moms who are HIV positive), the Huichol Scholarship Fund, R.I.S.E. (Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza) which provides food and shelter to children who would otherwise be living on the streets; Vallarta Abuelos, which provides educational & cultural support and scholarships to at-risk kids in Colonia Cinco de Diciembre; free English classes; and Instituto de Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta. IAMPV (Instituto de Artes Musicales Puerto Vallarta) is a non-profit educational music institute whose mission is to bring the joy of music to children and young adults in the greater Banderas Bay area. This is accomplished through a comprehensive program with many levels of instruction and different musical disciplines. Musical instruments are provided to beginning students.
