Puerto Vallarta’s dedicated firefighters are stepping into the spotlight with the launch of their annual fundraising calendar. This year’s edition showcases the commitment and skill of these local heroes, offering a unique glimpse into their daily lives.
The calendar, a project initiated by the firefighters themselves, features striking images of the team, both at their central base and against the backdrop of Puerto Vallarta’s natural beauty.
Misael López Muro, director of the Civil Protection and Fire Department, announced the calendar’s availability at a recent press conference. A limited print run of 1,000 copies ensures this collectible item will be cherished. Each calendar costs 500 pesos or 25 dollars, with all proceeds directly supporting the firefighters.
The funds raised will be instrumental in purchasing crucial safety equipment, including boots, belts, and other essential gear that protects these brave individuals as they serve the community. This initiative not only aims to improve their safety but also to highlight the demanding and vital work they perform. The calendar serves as a testament to their dedication and sacrifice.
Community members can support these hometown heroes by purchasing a calendar at the Civil Protection and Fire Department offices, located on the second floor of the UMA, or at the central fire station in the Lázaro Cárdenas neighborhood. Select local businesses will also carry the 2025 Puerto Vallarta Bomberos calendar.
