Vallarta Unveils Tuki Bosque: A New Era for Public Green Spaces

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The Vista Hermosa neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta shone brightly on the evening of October 31st as residents celebrated the grand opening of Tuki Bosque, the city’s most significant park rehabilitation project to date. Transformed into a central gathering place, this revitalized green space is set to become a treasured spot for the entire community of El Pitillal.

The festive inauguration was a Halloween night of pure delight, featuring countless lights, creative costumes, and joyous celebrations. Children and their families dove into a host of entertaining activities, including games and contests, marking the successful return of a once-neglected public area to a place full of life and laughter.

Mayor Luis Munguía González emphasized that the new park underscores the administration’s firm dedication to supporting the city’s youth.

“Today we delivered on our promise to the children, just as we have with their school domes, their tablets, their uniforms, and their new Tuki sneakers,” the Mayor stated.

He further noted that the local government is actively working to reclaim and improve public spaces, ensuring they are safe and fully operational for families. The rehabilitation of Tuki Bosque is a prime example of this ongoing effort to enhance the quality of life for Vallarta residents.

The park received immediate, high praise from the people it was built to serve. Little Mireya, a delighted Vista Hermosa resident, shared her enthusiasm about exploring the revamped area.

“It’s really cool, so much fun, I really liked the games here,” she shared, adding a warm invitation: “I highly recommend that you come, it’s a lot of fun.”

In agreement, resident Jesús González expressed his sincere gratitude to Mayor Munguía for the extensive improvements. González described the newly illuminated recreational space as “very beautiful” and a profound source of pride for all the families in the neighborhood. With its successful completion, Tuki Bosque provides the community with a welcoming, safe, and beautifully restored area for relaxation and play.
