Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México – Illumination Dinner & Show returns to Puerto Vallarta on Thursday, February 26 at 6:00 pm, bringing together fine dining, live entertainment, and community support for an evening with purpose. The sixth annual event will take place at Shangri-La, offering a luxury beachside setting for an evening dedicated to empowering local children with special needs.
This year’s celebration holds particular significance as it marks the 25th anniversary of Pasitos de Luz. Since its inception, this registered Mexican charity has provided a vital lifeline to families across Banderas Bay, offering a comprehensive suite of services including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, special education, and nutritional support. Because these services are offered entirely free of charge to children with disabilities, the funds raised during the Illumination event are essential for maintaining the organization’s high standard of care.
The evening begins with an elegant dinner, followed by a specially curated show featuring some of Puerto Vallarta’s most admired performers. Sol Reyes opens the program, setting the tone before dinner. Afterward, Nacho Granados and Chris Lopez take the stage with a polished, high-energy performance created exclusively for Illumination VI. Both artists are well known to local audiences through their appearances at The Palm Cabaret and other respected venues.
The evening also features a live auction with standout prizes, including weeklong stays in luxury condos at Marina Towers in Puerto Vallarta, as well as a three-bedroom getaway in Kelowna, British Columbia, complete with a wine tour, hosted dinner, and travel voucher.
A silent auction adds to the excitement with hotel stays, original artwork, spa and wellness packages, dining experiences, jewelry, and more. Guests can also participate in a raffle for a dining package at 10 outstanding local restaurants.
With attendance limited to just 220 guests, the event maintains an intimate feel that encourages community connection.
