Puerto Vallarta Artists Launch ‘Art for Palestine’ Charity Raffle

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – A collective of Puerto Vallarta artists has organized a special charity event, the Art for Palestine Charity Raffle, to promote a culture of generosity and raise funds for humanitarian aid. This initiative involves artists donating their work to be raffled, with all proceeds dedicated to providing medical aid through the reputable organization Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

Local artist Elodia Ximénez is among the group promoting this effort. She and her peers are focused on leveraging the power of art to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

To participate in the raffle and contribute to the cause, individuals are asked to make a direct donation of $150 pesos on the official MAP website. The process is designed to be straightforward and transparent, ensuring all funds go directly to the aid organization.

Once the donation is made, MAP sends a confirmation email to the donor. This email contains a receipt, which is a downloadable PDF file. To secure a raffle ticket, donors must download this receipt and send it via WhatsApp to 322-150-0031. This step verifies the donation and officially enters the participant into the drawing. With a single donation, supporters are both providing crucial medical aid and gaining a chance to win one of 12 exceptional prizes donated by the local art community.

The raffle features works by 11 local artists, whose commitment is key to the campaign’s success. The participating artists include: Ada Colorina, Elodia Ximénez, Ernesto Garrigós, Fátima Mora, Ireri Topete, Isela Mariscal, José Parrech, Talia GD, Mae Delgado, Rodolfo Blanco, and UglyBästard. Their collective talent offers a compelling reason to donate and participate.

The culmination of this charitable effort will be the raffle drawing on Friday, November 7, at 6 pm. The event will take place at Galería Isela Mariscal in the Puerto Vallarta Romantic Zone.

In addition to the raffle, the donated works will be featured in a celebratory joint exhibition titled Art for Peace, which will also showcase pieces from other artists. This gathering aims to highlight the positive role art can play in global humanitarian efforts.
