Puerto Vallarta, México – Entering week five of its annual Día de la Amistad 50/50 Charity Raffle, the Puerto Vallarta International Friendship Club (IFC) is reporting strong progress toward its fundraising goal. As of last week, the campaign had raised $153,000 pesos, bringing the organization more than halfway toward its ambitious $251,000 pesos goal.
This collective effort transforms every ticket purchase into a direct investment in the well-being of the Puerto Vallarta community. While the IFC is widely known for its popular Vallarta Home Tours, the 50/50 raffle has established itself as the club’s second-largest fundraiser, allowing residents and visitors alike to contribute to meaningful causes.
The excitement surrounding this year’s fundraiser continues to build as the drawing date approaches. Currently, the prize pool offers substantial rewards for three participants: a 1st-place prize of $38,250 pesos, a 2nd-place prize of $22,950 pesos, and a 3rd-place prize of $15,300 pesos. As ticket sales continue, prize amounts will grow alongside the overall total raised.
Participation in the raffle is open to all, and entrants do not need to register for the Festival of Friendship or be present to win. In past years, winners have come from Canada, the United States, and Mexico, highlighting the raffle’s broad international reach.
Ticket prices remain accessible, with individual tickets available for $500 pesos, and discounted packages offering five tickets for $2,000 pesos or 13 tickets for $4,000 pesos. Supporters can purchase tickets online at the IFC website.
Winners will be announced on Sunday, February 15, during the IFC’s Friendship Festival, where attendees can meet many of the charitable organizations supported by the club. Once the winning tickets are drawn, the prize money will be promptly disbursed to the lucky recipients. All 50/50 raffle winners will be notified via email, so they need not be present to claim their prizes.
With several weeks remaining before the mid-February deadline, IFC organizers encourage continued participation to help ensure the sixth annual Día de la Amistad 50/50 Raffle meets – and possibly exceeds – its fundraising goal, providing essential support to the local charities that rely on the club’s contributions.
