Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico – The Andrea 3.21 Foundation is inviting the Puerto Vallarta community to lace up their running shoes and join the Sixth Race for Inclusion, a charity sporting event taking place September 6. The event will combine physical activity with an opportunity to support programs that make a direct difference in the lives of local families.
The race will begin at 7:00 am, with the Agustín Flores Contreras Stadium serving as both the starting and finishing point. Organizers expect more than 500 participants, with several options available for people of different ages and fitness levels.
Participants can choose from competitive 5- and 10-kilometer routes or a 3-kilometer recreational course designed for families and those who prefer to walk or enjoy a more relaxed pace. Pets are also welcome to join their owners, adding another element of community and family participation to the event.
Registration costs 450 pesos for adults, 350 pesos for children, and 150 pesos for participating pets. Registration is available through the Andrea 3.21 Foundation’s official website.
More than a sporting event, the race serves as an important fundraiser for the Andrea 3.21 Foundation. The organization provides comprehensive care for children and young people with Down syndrome while also supporting their families through therapies, educational programs, and specialized services.
The foundation currently serves 64 families and needs more than 500,000 pesos to cover its operating expenses and maintain these programs. All funds raised through the race will go toward the foundation’s operations and the continuation of its services.
The event also aims to encourage greater awareness of inclusion and the importance of creating a community where people of all abilities can participate and feel supported. By bringing together runners, families, businesses, and members of the public, the foundation hopes to turn the September 6 event into a meaningful show of community support.
The Sixth Race for Inclusion is open to experienced runners, children, young people, families, recreational walkers, and anyone who would like to participate alongside their pet.
