Fires Near Puerto Vallarta Leave Families in Urgent Need

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – Three devastating wildfires continue to burn near Puerto Vallarta, impacting the towns of Santa Cruz, Paulo, and Tlalpuyeque, all near El Tuito. These fires have left many families without food, water, clothing, or shelter. Among those affected are workers who are essential to Vallarta’s tourism industry, including housekeepers, gardeners, restaurant and hotel staff, taxi and Uber drivers, and farmers who supply fresh produce to the region.

One of the fires has been contained, but the dry season and challenging weather conditions are making it difficult to control the others. With limited emergency resources available in these small towns, Vallarta Cares has stepped in to provide crucial support. Volunteers have been delivering water, transporting supplies, and assisting firefighters in battling the flames.

How You Can Help
Your donation can provide immediate relief for those in need, including:

  • Fuel to transport water for firefighting efforts
  • Supplies for firefighters and emergency workers
  • Food and clean drinking water for displaced families
  • Medical and critical supplies such as bandages, diapers, baby formula, and clothing
  • Temporary housing for those who have lost their homes

Your Generosity Can Make a Difference

By donating today, you can help Vallarta Cares continue its vital work, ensuring that families in the affected areas receive the assistance they need and that firefighters have the resources to control the remaining fires.

“On behalf of our community, I want to say thank you for your compassion and commitment.” – Frankie Bañuelos, Vallarta Cares co-founder.

Vallarta Cares is 100% volunteer based, but all of their work would be impossible without the generosity of donors and supporters.
