Mexican vocalist Enrique de Allende delivered a breathtaking performance at The Palm Cabaret on Friday, January 20. With a home base of San Miguel de Allende, Enrique comes to Puerto Vallarta from time to time to perform, and he’s here preparing for his yearly Valentine’s Day show at Hacienda Palo Maria.
'This is Gaga', starring Maru Prado Conti, has been running for several years with sold-out performances at The Palm Cabaret. The phenomenal success of this show continues on Saturdays at 9:30 pm with a new, original performance, 'Applause', added on Wednesdays at 8 pm.

The music line-up for this year's Riverfest is the best ever! The event organizers are pleased to welcome back some old favorites, and introduce some new acts that will be performing on February 25 & 26 at El Rio BBQ Bar, all for a cause close to our hearts - the children of Pasitos de Luz.
On Sunday, March 5, between 2:00–6:00 pm, El Rio BBQ Bar will host the 'Pussy Cat Concert' to benefit PuRR Project, a non-profit, no-kill feline shelter located just north of Puerto Vallarta. The Las Mambas will be onstage, as well as guest performers like Amy Armstrong, and of course there will be raffles for prizes!
New York City comedian Keenan Steiner is back in Puerto Vallarta for a limited run. This time he'll be performing his one-hour comedy show, 'XXL in Mexico', at La Catrina Cantina on Fridays at 6:30 pm and Sundays at 7 pm through February 12th.
The Puerto Vallarta Writers Group (PVWG) meets each Saturday during the winter season from 10:30 to 12:00 noon at Las Brazzas Grill near the east end of the Cuale Island. Everybody interested in writing – at any level and in any area – is invited.
Orchestra rehearsals are in full swing at IAMPV, a non-profit organization that provides musical education to children and young adults and serves as an umbrella organization for the Vallarta Symphony Orchestra and the Salty Paws Jazz Orchestra, as they prepare for their Winter season concerts.
