Shakira – Unplugged Tribute Concert
A tribute to SHAKIRA, one of Latin America’s greatest stars ever comes to The Palm Cabaret. Performed by the multi-talented Andra Covo, this reenactment of the legendary concert that launched her career is being presented on two dates only. The infamous MTV 1999 unplugged album, one of the most acclaimed releases in Latin American music history is being presented LIVE with a 9-piece band. Andra Covo is a Mexican singer-songwriter who has performed all across Mexico and toured the USA and Canada since she was 18. At the age of 24 she wrote the single Thousand Miles. Don’t miss your chance to see this very talented performer in a tribute to one of her inspirations, Shakira, on Dec 2, 9 & 16 at 6 pm.
Tina Burner in 5, 6 Several 8
Kristian Seeber, known professionally as Tina Burner, is an American drag performer most known for appearing in Shade: Queens of NYC and on the thirteenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She was a part of a boy band named 5th Ring. In her show at The Palm, Tina Burner delivers a combination of live singing, signature mixes, stand-up comedy and costume reveals. Her show 5, 6 Several 8’s happens on Tues, Dec 6 at 6 pm and Sun, Dec 31 at 8 pm.
Betti & Bruce: Holiday in Vegas!
Betti & Bruce return to The Palm Cabaret to debut their new Holiday show: Betti & Bruce! Holiday in Vegas! In their newest musical comedy cabaret, Betti & Bruce use their signature combination of Song, Dance and Schtick to recount the hilarious and heartfelt tale of their trip to reach the biggest Holiday gig of their careers: headlining in Las Vegas! Featuring spruced-up covers and parodies of Holiday classics by Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Patti Labelle and many more, B&B’s Las Vegas Holiday show, playing on Fridays, Dec 8, 15 & 22 at 6 pm, is sure to make you chortle eggnog from your nose!
Puerto Vallarta Gay Men’s Chorus Christmas Concerts
The Puerto Vallarta Men’s Chorus is the first gay chorus in Mexico and all of Latin America. They are a proud member of GALA Choruses, a worldwide organization that represents over 8,000 singers and over 170 choruses around the world. PVMC is a chorus of approximately 20 to 40 members, both Mexican and Ex-Pat singing beautiful male choral music with lots of fun comedic material in both English and Spanish. From September 2018 to date the choir has been conducted by the talented Derek Carkner, who has taken the quality and performance of the PVGMC to a higher level. Don’t miss the PVMC holiday performances on Saturday & Sunday, December 16 & 17 at 2 pm.
Branden & James + Effie Passero
Puerto Vallarta favorites Branden & James + Effie Passero from PostModern Jukebox & American Idol bring their show direct from the United States to The Palm Cabaret in Puerto Vallarta. Branden & James are professionally trained musicians who have gained notoriety as first-class performers both in Puerto Vallarta and around the world. Branden’s breathtaking operatic voice is absolutely stunning and his smooth looks and smile make him an appealing entertainer. James is a classically trained master of the strings and piano, and his cello accompaniment pierces the soul in the most delightful way. Together their harmonies are extraordinary and their musical accompaniment is breathtaking. Add to that the love that they share for each other, and you can not escape the magic that these entertainers deliver to their audience. Joining Branden & James in this holiday concert, Effie Passero continues her success as a world-class singing sensation. Her starring role in PostModern Jukebox has brought international attention to her amazing musical talent. This not-to-be-missed concert is playing on Dec 28, 29 & 30 at 6 pm.
